Steel has passed both his grey genetics and his fineness on to Vanessa, who has a sweet disposition as well. At shearing April 2021 (8 years old), she still had very fine and consistent fleece on her entire blanket, down her belly and down her legs with very minimal skirting needed. On March 18, 2017, Vanessa had a true black girl from AOBA Black Fleece Champ, Zeppelin! Vanessa is a great mom with lots of milk. Vanessa's 2018 cria is an absolutely gorgeous tux grey boy Voltaire from our champ grey herdsire, Snowmass Enlightenment, and we couldn't be more pleased! Feb. 2022 she had a leggy true black girl Vanderbilt sired by KT-Lee's Dolomite who has award winning grey genetics in his background as well. April 2023 Vanessa had a stunning MSG female Victoria sired by Epic Alpacas Sir Richard Westfall. We liked it so much we have repeated the breeding. April 2024 she gave a MSG male with a clean blanket
